Gabe is four months

Gabriel is now four months old. He is growing so fast. In the past few weeks he has learned to roll over from his stomach to his back and back over to his stomach.

Just this week, while on his stomach he will scoot himself forward on his knees. I think we might have an early crawler.Caleb has been keeping us busy. He loves to play daddy's drum on Rock Band. His favorite is the guitar.

Just this past weekend my brother Trevor got married. Caleb was the ring bearer. He did an excellent job walking down the aisle and looked so handsome in his tux.

Gabriel

Wow, it's been a while since I last updated our family blog. On May 19th, God blessed us with our second son. Gabriel was 7 pounds 13 ounces and 21 inches long. His big brother Caleb is so proud of his baby brother.

Gabriel is getting so big and chunky. He loves to laugh and talk to his teddy bear mobile on his bassinet.
Having two is definitely keeping me busy. Caleb is such a great help, getting momma diapers and burping baby Gabe.

Easter 2009

Caleb had a really nice Easter. The Easter Bunny brought him some fun outside toy. We went to Grandmama's house and colored Easter Eggs then went on a hunt with some friends.

Caleb had such a wonderful Halloween. Even though mommy told everyone he was going to be a lion, Caleb was a monkey. Caleb enjoyed walking the neighborhood with his family and the family dogs.

Mommy's Birthday

This past weekend my family surprised me for my birthday. My birthday is in a few weeks so it was a huge surprise to see everyone.

The Virginia Living Museum

This weekend Mommy, Daddy, Grandma, and Caleb went to the Virginia Living Museum. Caleb had fun looking at all of the neat and colorful fish and enjoying the sites of the other animals.

Summer Time

Caleb is having a fun summer. He loves to swing and play in his pool. This past week Caleb and I met Caroline and Grayson at the Bluebird Gap Farm. The boys enjoyed looking at the different animals and throwing handfuls of food at them. After we left the farm we went to Chic-fila and had lunch. The two mommy's enjoyed grown up conversation while the boys had fun throwing food across the table. We can't wait to get together again soon.

Memorial Day

We had a wonderful Memorial Day. Grammy and Pops came to our new house for a cookout. Mommy and Daddy blew up Caleb's new pool so he could enjoy the water. After dinner we all walked to the park so Caleb could have fun on the swings.

Caleb had a wonderful time at his first birthday party. All of his family and friends came to help celebrate the special day. Caleb opened many fun new things. He got clothes, shoes, toys, books, and a rocking chair. Caleb also enjoyed getting messy in icing from his cupcake. Everyone had a great time. We hope Grayson is feeling better and that Dylan had a fun time in Florida. See you all next weekend.

This morning it snowed at Grandma's house. Mommy bundled me up and took me outside. It was very cold and the snow flakes were hitting my face.

Christmas 2007

Caleb had a wonderful first Christmas. Santa brought him so many fun new toys. Grammie and Pops bought him a Radio Flyer Pony and many floor toys to play with.Mommy and Daddy bought him a Leap Frog Activity Table a Tickle Me Elmo and a few other great things.

Caleb's Papa bought him a fun riding/push car. He loves to sit on and push with his feet.

This is Caleb's Chrsitmas outfit. He looked like a little newspaper boy. He was to darn cute in his little hat.

First Hair Cut

Caleb sat in his daddy's lap while Aunt Tiffanie cut his hair. She cut only the top and the sides. Mommy wanted to keep his curls in the back. Caleb did really well sitting still, he didn't even cry. He is such a big boy.

Caleb is learning how to pull himself up now. Mommy and Daddy bought him this new toy to help him. He is a little timid to take steps but that is sure to come.

Caleb had a wonderful Thanksgiving in Va with family and friends.

Halloween

Tonight was Caleb's first Halloween. Caleb enjoyed getting dressed up in his turtle costume. Daddy carved a pumpkin and mommy handed out candy. Since there weren't many trick or treaters, mommy and daddy took Caleb for a walk around the neighborhood. By the end of the night Caleb was exhausted and was ready to get his costume off. Caleb hopes that Grayson and Dylan had fun dressing up and being silly in their costumes.

Ok, I know it's been to long. Caleb is 9 months old now. I can't believe how fast time is flying. On Friday, Caleb went for his Well Baby appt. He weighed in at 22 pounds and 8 ounce. He is 29 and 3/4 inches tall. His doctor says he is doing great but is surprised that he isn't crawling yet. She suggested that Caleb start eating table food and drinking from a sippy cup. We started all of that today at lunch. He does great holding his cup but would rather chew on it than drink out of it. The foods he is trying to eat are called Gerber Graduates. It's jarred fruits, veggies, and meat sticks. They are cut into small pieces and are very soft. Caleb mushes them with his gums and teeth, that is when he isn't gagging on them.

Month of July

The month of July has been a busy month for our little guy. He has learned and experienced so many new things. Caleb learned how to roll from his back to his stomach while we were on vacation for the Fourth.

Caleb went to his first annual Myrtle Beach vacation. Not only did he enjoy the water and sand, he swam with the sharks at the aquarium.

When we got home from our family vacation, Caleb began learning how to sit up when mommy would place him on his butt on the floor. He's doing much better now than he was in this picture.

A few weeks ago mommy and daddy went to Babies R Us and bought him his very own highchair. He loves to sit in it and eat his fruit and veggies and play with toys on the tray.

This past weekend Caleb learned how to get his toes in his mouth. He also started using a seat in the bathtub instead of his baby tub.

Hey everyone,

So, this is my first time writing. As you all know, Lucas and I live in South Carolina with our son Caleb. Caleb is now six months old and is getting bigger everyday. I hope I will be able to keep this up to keep everyone update on the life and times of the Marino family. We are leaving this Friday for Va. Lucas is going out to sea so Caleb and I will be there until he gets back in October. Hope to see everyone soon. Take Care.
